I always immediately check the calendar for The Peace Center after the New Year to see what’s coming up soon. If you’re already looking to add some cool events to your calendar, look no more. Here is a list of 5 big shows coming to The Peace Center this year! 

 

  1. Tootsie: The Musical  - January 4th - 9th

 

If you’re looking for an event to go to within the next week, look into getting tickets to Tootsie. This musical is hilarious and heartwarming. It follows the story of an actor whose abysmal behavior lands him on the blacklist of every theater in town. But when he disguises himself as a woman and auditions for female roles, he finds huge success and learns a lot about what he is capable of inside. 

 

  1. The Beach Boys- February 4th

 

This show was rescheduled due to the pandemic, but it’s finally happening this February! Get ready for a major throwback of classic tunes we all can dance to. This is perfect for people of all ages, as it seems everyone knows a little bit of the Beach Boys discography. 

 

  1. Hamilton: An American Musical - June 7th - June 19th 

 

Hamilton’s return to Greenville was rescheduled during the pandemic, but is finally coming back this June! You’d have to be living under a rock to have not heard about this revolutionary rap-musical about America’s founding fathers. Grab your tickets now if you haven’t already, this is sure to be a hot commodity this year! 

 

  1. Earth, Wind, and Fire- May 3rd

 

Get ready for a major throwback! Earth, Wind, and Fire is making its way to the Peace Center this spring. Bring your dancing shoes and bell-bottom pants, because it’s sure to be a boogie wonderland!

If you’re looking for a night full of laughs, this is definitely the show for you! Comedy icons Steve Martin and Martin Short are coming back to the Peace Center to bring you all the joy and laughter you can handle in one sitting.
