Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast - Paper Moon Studios April 1st 7:00

If you are a fan of this cult classic movie, you have to experience the phenomenon that is Shadow Casts of this show. If you don’t know, a shadow cast is where a group plays Rocky Horror Picture Show on a big screen and actors mime out the events of the movie in front of the screen. Bring a party hat, a bag of rice, a piece of toast, and be ready to do all your favorite call outs at this special April Fool’s showing of Rocky Horror at Paper Moon Studios. Southern Roots BBQ Festival - April 15th 11:00-4:00pm

Do you love delicious Southern Barbeque? Then you have to head to Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest for this year’s Southern Roots BBQ reunion. “Over 30 pitmasters and chefs will be joining together as teams to cook 16 different BBQ dishes! Guests can expect a range of BBQ proteins including pork, chicken, beef, lamb, goat and more, all paired with a delicious side.” This is all for a good cause too, as this is event is also a benefit for IDefine, a non-profit organization dedicated to identifying life-changing treatments and cures for those with intellectual disabilities stemming from rare genetic disorders. 

 

To Kill A Mockingbird - Peace Center April 18th - 23rd

Aaron Sorkin’s adaptation of Harper Lee’s iconic story comes back to The Peace Center this month and we could not be more excited. What is known as one of the greatest books in American History is also rapidly becoming known as one of the greatest plays in American History in this truly beautiful staging of the show. This is a great event for any and all theater lovers. 

 

Kenny Chesney Tour - April 27 Bon Secours 7:30

Calling all country music fans! Country music legend Kenny Chesney is coming to Bon Secours Arena at the end of April for his I Go Back Tour. Grab your cowboy hats and boots, a beer, and get ready to have a great time singing along with family and friends!
