It’s officially springtime in Greenville which means the arrival of many fun events that are held outdoors and are perfect for the whole family! If you are looking for events to attend in May, there is no shortage. Check out our list of four awesome events to enjoy in Greenville in May 2023!
Food Truck Roll Out - Greer May 12th
If you’re looking for an awesome night with your friends and family, you have to head to Greer City Park for an evening of live music and delicious food for May’s food truck roll out! The vendors include G-Rod's Latin Fusion, Daddy's Cookout, One Eyed Donkey, One Love Fusion, The Snickering Coyote Craft BBQ, The Wok Lobster Asian American Comfort Food, Kona Ice of Piedmont/Simpsonville, Sweet Touch, and Synergy Coffee.
Artisphere - May 12th
One of my favorite annual events in Greenville is Artisphere. Artisphere festival is an annual three-day event that gives arts patrons the rare opportunity to meet exhibiting artists while purchasing original works of art. A supportive, art-loving community, beautiful setting, and many volunteers make the Artisphere festival an enjoyable experience for exhibiting artists and the public alike. A great event for the whole family!
Greek Festival - May 19th-May 21st
Greenville’s Greek Fest is back and better than ever! The community of Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral will celebrate our 37th Annual Greenville Greek Festival May 19 – 21, 2023. Come enjoy Greek culture through food, dance, vendors, and our newest addition -- the Taverna. Come be “Greek for a Day.” Experience authentic Greek food and pastries offered through both our drive-thru and onsite dining from 11 am - 5 pm.
Farmer’s Markets - Every Saturday
May marks the beginning of Greenville’s farmers market season! My favorite is the Saturday market in Downtown Greenville, but there are also excellent markets in Travelers Rest and Simpsonville on Saturdays as well. From fresh produce to baked goods and even local artists, you’re sure to find something you love at our local farmer’s market!
