The second annual Restaurant Week begins today, and we are so excited! Given that this is only the second time this event has taken place, many people are probably unfamiliar with how it works. Restaurant Week is an 11-day celebration of Greenville’s culinary scene and gives local, regional, and national food lovers the opportunity to enjoy delicious food at amazing values during lunch and/or dinner at a number of participating casual and high-end South Carolina restaurants. The goal of restaurant week is to position South Carolina as one of the top culinary destinations in the nation by creating awareness surrounding the many incredible local eateries in the upstate while also bolstering revenue and business in the community. Participating restaurants may feature new menu items, fan favorites, and allows you to create your own multi-course menu throughout the week. This year is even better because they are including a new take out option, so those of you who are working parents or might wait to get a reservation until it’s too late can still participate in a way that works for your schedule!
