One of the many things that surprises visitors about Greenville is its surprisingly vibrant nightlife. Greenville is home to many unique bars and experiences, and I thought I would take a minute to highlight some of these in case you and your friends were looking for some fun to be had after work or over the weekend! Here is a list of 4 of Greenville’s best bars and clubs. 

 

  1. Juniper

 

Juniper blasted onto the Greenville bar scene a little over a year ago, and the downtown area hasn’t been the same since. Located on the rooftop of the AC Hotel in Camperdown Plaza, this bar/restaurant has everything you could want in a bougie cocktail experience. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a secret cocktail garden that is randomly open to the public for an extra magical experience. They often have live performances on Friday nights, from drag shows and dancers to live violinists and fire breathers, there is no shortage of amazing experiences to be had at Juniper! 

 

  1. Group Therapy

 

Group Therapy Pub and Playground opened just a week ago as I’m writing this, and it has already made a huge splash in Greenvilles nightlife scene. This isn’t your regular bar or nightclub. Group therapy is full of awesome activities that anyone would enjoy. They have ax throwing, mini golf, curling, karaoke, and a bar with amazing cocktails and a wall lined with beer taps. Even the bathrooms are fun, with pictures on the wall that can be pulled back to reveal a rave button that turns on disco lights and blasts music for you to dance to in the mirror. If you want to unlock your inner child, this is definitely the place you want to go! 

 

  1. Vault and Vator

 

If you want to feel like you’ve stepped onto the set of a Bond film, Vault and Vator is the perfect place for you. This speakeasy is located in the West End of Downtown Greenville, and you have to look a little bit to find it. What looks like a regular parking lot entrance to an apartment building opens to reveal an intimate craft-cocktail bar decorated with blue velvet curtains and dim-lighting to evoke a suave and secretive feel. They have excellent craft cocktails and a strict no phones rule, which will help you stay in the moment and enjoy the atmosphere. Check this place out with your friends for a guaranteed fancy and fun time! 

 

  1. Neat Bourbon Bar 

 

 

If you’re an avid bourbon drinker, you have to check out Neat in Downtown Greenville. This bar is located underground on Main Street, and has a really intimate feel while still being able to hold quite a few people. They have a wide array of Bourbon and Whiskey selections, as well as a delicious appetizer menu. If you’re looking for a chill night with friends where you can savor your drink, Neat is a great option for you.
